A 15-page coloring book that explains to children what the Republic means, through coloring. Each page shows the word "CUMHURİYET" (Republic) in large letters, a short Turkish sentence starting with "Cumhuriyet demek…" ("Republic means…") and a scene that illustrates it: a girl confidently raising her hand in class, a woman casting her vote, a girl dreaming of becoming a pilot, children working with a microscope, a family planting a sapling, people from different professions in front of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, a woman engineer, children holding hands in peace and, on the last page, Atatürk with children. While coloring, children can talk about values such as equality, education, freedom of thought, working together and caring for the future. Pages are A4 portrait, black-and-white line art that prints clearly on any home or school printer. Use it as a classroom activity for Republic Day week, for a school board, or as a family activity at home. Download it with a free BUDEFA account. The pack also includes the book's Canva AI prompt: a 3-page PDF for anyone who wants to recreate the book in their own style using Canva. It contains the design rules (A4 portrait, white background, bold black outlines, large coloring areas) and, for each of the 15 pages, the sentence to print and a description of the coloring scene — just copy the text in order and paste it into Canva AI. You can change the scenes and adapt them to your class or child. The prompt is in Turkish.
